- Delhi and
     Mumbai have been included in United
     Nations 95 prosperous cities list. In which Mumbai is 52nd
     and Delhi is 58th. Also Hyderabad has been termed as the
     pharmaceutical Capital of India. Vienna
     capital of Austria is on top whereas New York is 2nd and
     Toronto is 3rd with London
     on 4th and Stockholm at 5th place.
 
- Hillary Mantel got her 2nd
     Man Booker Prize for her book “Bring up the bodies.” In year 2009, she got
     one for her book “Wolf Hall”. Her First novel in 1979 was “A place of
     greater safety.”
 
- Monisha Calteborn was chosen as
     the Principle of the team Sauber (Swiss Formula One team)
     in Formula 1.
 
- Anil Kumble was appointed as the
     new Chief of ICC Cricket Committee over the West Indian Captain Clive
     Llyod who was taking care of the post earlier.
 
- Hugo Shavez becomes the president
     of Venezuela for 3rd consecutive time. Henrique Caprails was in
     his opposition.
 
- Former

     took place in Sri Lanka.
 
- Yash Chopra 
     ages 80 years passed away on 21st December 2012. He was suffering
     from dengue. His first film was “Dhool ke Phool” and last is “Jab tak hai
     jaan”.

     Obama (Democratic Party)  and Mitt
     Romney (Republican Party) were standing for the post of President.
 
- For
     Vice-President post Joe Biden (From Obama’s side) and Paul Reyan (from
     Romney’s side) 
 
- Barak Obama won the elections and
     is elected second time for the same post on 7th Nov.

     Forbes List.
 
- Comedy
     King "Jaspal Bhatti" died on 25th October 2012 in a car
     accident.
 
- Bhahma Chellaney author of “Water: Asia’s new
battleground” was chosen was Bernard Schwartz Book Award for his work.
 
- Pankaj Advani defeated Englands Mike
Russel and won World Billiards Championship for 7th time.
 
- India
     Defeated Pakistan by 18 runs and won ACC Asia cup Tournament 2012 in women’s
     cricket. 
 
- Bharti
     Airtel became world’s 4th largest telecom Company.
 
- Saina Nehwal
     defeated Julean Shank from Germany and won the Denmark Open Series.
 
- Sachin
     Tendulkar was honoured with “Order of Australia” award.
 
-  Rupesh
     Shah from India won the Billiards Trophy after defeating Matthew Bolten of
     Australia.
 
- Saina Got
     defeated in French Open by Ki Minatsu (Japan)
 
-  50 years
     completed of Indo- Chinese War
     (1962).
 
- Gango
